Dr Najmul Haider is a Lecturer of Epidemiology at Keele University, United Kingdom. Najmul is trained as a veterinarian and then developed a career in Public Health. His PhD research centred on modelling vector-borne diseases in Northern Europe. As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Royal Veterinary College, UK, Najmul led ‘One Health’ projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, studying Lassa Fever in Sierra Leone and the Chikungunya virus in the Republic of Congo. Currently, Najmul is engaged in diverse One Health research projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and arbovirus projects in South Asia, particularly focusing on the dengue virus in Bangladesh and Nepal. Najmul is open to collaborating further on dengue and emerging/zoonotic diseases with pandemic potential.

Dr Md Asaduzzaman  is currently an Associate Professor in Operational Research at Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent, UK, where he joined as a Lecturer in 2014 and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2017. He has a background in Statistics and Operational Research (OR), and received the B.Sc. (Hon’s) and M.Sc. degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 1999 and 2001, respectively, the M.Sc. degree in Bioinformatics from the Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in Operational Research from the University of Westminster, London, UK, in 2010. Asad teaches mathematics, statistics, and operational research modules at the Department of Engineering. He is also actively involved in research and performs both methodological and applied research in operational research, statistics, and ML techniques in healthcare, communication networks, and environmental sciences domain.
